COCONUT LODGE

OUR STORY

Please note that we are currently in the process of renovating this wonderful lodge and website. We are trying our best to make this transition as smooth and even as pleasurable as possible.

You should still be able to find all the necessary information on the site but we would like to encourage you to send us your contact information so that we can keep you up-to-date.

Mozambique's 2,500 km of Indian Ocean coastline is mainly made up of empty, palm-fringed, sandy beaches stretching from Pemba in the North down to Ponta do Ouro in the South. Whether travelling from down from Maputo or the short distance from the border post, the golden sands requires a 4x4 or 2x4 vehicle with high ground clearance.

The quaint village of Ponta D'Ouro in Mozambique is a short distance from the South African border at Kosi Bay (KwaZulu-Natal) and is a popular Mozambique beach and holiday destination. Visitors will find this area particularly popular during the South African school holidays and booking in advance is advisable.
